Your main tasks
- Support the development and testing of embedded systems for our products.
- Work with microcontrollers, sensors, electronic components, and PCBs.
- Support firmware testing and debugging.
- Build and test prototypes.
- Carry out measurements and functional tests.
- Support troubleshooting and product improvements.
- Document test results and development work.
- Support product assembly, testing, and quality control activities.
- Support day-to-day technical and operational activities if needed.
For this job you should
- Be currently enrolled in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, Embedded Systems, Computer Engineering, Medical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Have a basic understanding of electronics and embedded systems.
- Have some programming knowledge, preferably C/C++ or a similar language.
- Be interested in hands-on work with electronic hardware and prototypes.
- Be structured, reliable, and willing to learn.
- Have good German and English communication skills.
- Be comfortable supporting both R&D and practical operational activities in a startup environment.
You will have a preference, if you
- Have worked with microcontrollers such as ESP32, STM32, Arduino, or similar.
- Have some experience with firmware development or debugging.
- Have basic experience with electronic measurement equipment.
- Have experience with soldering, PCB testing, or electronics prototyping.
- Have some knowledge of Python, Git, or communication protocols such as I²C, SPI, or UART.
- Are interested in microscopy, biotechnology, medical technology, or scientific instrumentation.
